Sundays at 9 am
Before our worship service, we offer Redeemer Kids Sunday School at 9am for 0-5th grade. During this hour we provide a safe and fun atmosphere for kids to build friendships and learn about God and His plans for us. Check out this season's topics and classroom assignments below!
Preschool: Room 5- Join us as we learn our Kids Quest Catechisms in conjunction with our Midweek program!
Kindergarten- 2nd Grade: Room 9- We are walking through understanding, learning, studying and living by God's Word.
3rd-5th Grade: Room 10- Our 3rd-5th graders are continuing their bible survey and working through the books of Acts and Romans.

Redeemer Kids Worship- Preschool & Nursery
We offer kids programming every Sunday morning for children 0-5 years old. It is our hope, that during this time, we can serve your children and teach them about God's love for us in a safe and loving environment. This Spring, children will be learning about when God sent Jesus to be the Savior of the world because of his great love.
Redeemer Kids Worship for preschool and nursery aged children begins 15 minutes prior to the beginning of 10am service. Check your children in at the check-in desk at the entrance of the kids wing. If it's your first time joining us and you can't find your way, our greeters are here to help you get to where you are going! Each child checked in will receive a name tag and a guardian receipt will be given to each family- this can be used to pick up your children at the end of service.

Redeemer Kids Worship- Kindergarten-2nd Grade
Redeemer Kids' philosophy of ministry shapes our programming. We believe that children belong in worship service but as parents and stewards of children, we have to teach them how to be a part of worship and what each element of worship means. Every other Sunday, we invite children ages kindergarten- 2nd grade to join us for a kid-friendly lesson on the elements of worship. Kindergarteners-2nd graders who choose to participate in Redeemer Kids Worship are asked to sit with their family through the beginning of worship service and will be dismissed during the Greeting of Peace to the back of the sanctuary to meet our volunteers. We ask that parents pick up their children from Room 10 at before communion begins. This allows children to see what it looks like to take the sacraments!

Wednesdays at 6pm
Redeemer Kids Midweek is our Wednesday night programming that runs from 6-7pm. Running concurrently with our school year (September- April), our kids are learning catechisms that help us better understand who God is and what it means to follow and serve the Lord. Midweek includes a time of Bible teaching, recreational games and music that all come together to create a fun night of fellowship for all involved. Join us at 5:30 for pizza and fellowship! Check in at the front table and find your classroom assignment for your child's age group!!

Meet the Kids Ministry Team!
Emma Fink
Kids Ministry Director
Emma, a South Carolina native, moved to Waco in 2021 for her husband's job. Immediately upon arriving, they knew that Redeemer Waco would be their new church family. Emma graduated from the University of South Caroline with a BA in Early Childhood Education. Days after graduating, she began working as the Kids Ministry Director at her childhood church in Columbia, SC, where she served for 3.5 years. During her time there, she received her Kids Ministry Certification through the PCA. In 2021, she became the Kids Ministry Director at Redeemer Waco and has since gone on to receive two more certifications through the same program. When she's not cutting out crafts or eating popsicles with kids, she can be found spending time with her daughters, Charlotte and Harper, her husband, Ryan, and her two dogs, Lilly and KC.
Caroline Gibbs
Kids Ministry Associate
Caroline began serving as the Kids Ministry Associate in August of 2024. As a native Texan, she moved with her family to St. Louis during high school with a determination to move back to Texas someday. She began attending Baylor in 2023 and is currently studying education. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her friends and sorority sisters, and spending time outside!
